My son had it a few weeks ago..but it was mild since he was vaccinated and now my wife has it. She uses calamine lotion and turmeric to soothe the itches/pain.
Highly contagious and expected to spread to everyone coming in contact with them.
Aveeno Oatmeal will help with the itch. Chicken pox is a viral type thing, you will have to ride out the viral part, however, the oatmeal bath will help with the itch.
There are no remedies , that thing has to run it course.
Best to have a good supply of calamine , don’t scratch , take some antihistamine and maybe some Antibiotics to prevent secondary infection
Do isolate the patient since he would be very infectious
kEEP THEM HOME AND USE AN ANTI ITCH CREAM. tHERE IS NO MEDICAL CURE FOR THE POX. oTHER THAN THAT, MAKE SURE THEY ARE VACCINATED.

I don’t think there are any. Just ways to help symptoms like itching. Which would be calamine lotion.
