How long do the side effects of the chicken pox vaccine last?

by chicken pox pictures

I just got the vaccine 2 days ago, and the swelling and soreness around the injected area has not stopped… when will it?

Most people go through this for 1 to 2 days after most any vaccination. I suppose it’s possible that you are more sensitive than most. If you don’t see a difference and a subsiding of the swelling and soreness in another 24-36 hours, speak to your doctor about it. You can take Tylenol/ibuprofen and use an ice pack 15 min. on/15 min. off for 2 hours.
