Is tis essay good enough for highschool level?

Like the character in ‘Mothers’ by Anna Quindlen I miss my mother very much, but not for the same reasons. Me and my mother used to be very close. We shared inside jokes, clothes, music taste, and love for one another. We were sisters and best friends. Every since I started school and she started work it’s been harder to make time for each other. We both have our own challenges, like boys, pimples, cliques, or making time for cooking, cleaning and sleeping. We each have five minuets in the morning to catch up. In that time both of our mouths talk 100 miles per hour.
It’s hard to think about how selfish it sounds, complaining about how I hardly see my mom seeing that some people don’t have that kind of guardian angel. I look at pictures of her when she was little and they make me smile. Every time we have a fight I remind myself that I couldn’t live without her sweet smell, the dazzling sound of her voice, and her delicate touch. Sometimes when my mom get mad she talks about going back to Bulgaria, where we lived for most of our lives. Her words stab me like a million knifes all at ones, and make me feel like a slow dying flower. After our fights are over I still lay in bed thinking of her leaving.
We do crazy things like sing on top of our lungs to a song we don’t even know or dance wildly around the kitchen. When I had the chicken pox she stayed with me all night. When I was four I went to camp at the sea. It was dance camp and I my mom couldn’t be there, but a couple of girls picked on me and I was hurting bad. My mom found out and got on the train an hour later. She used to read me stories about princesses and pirates and incredible characters that made me longing for adventure. She did what she could to show me the thrill of life. We loved hiking, going to plays exploring our beloved city.
Even now, when I am presumptive to be no longer a child, my face glows when my mother comes home from work. We dream of going to Italy, Paris, and New York, but I think my biggest wish in life has already come true, I have a mother that cares about me as well as loves me. We will fight so much that our tears will form a 6th ocean, but our smiles will be enough to outshine the sun.

I am in 8th grade but my mom’s friend went back to collage amd she needed a little help. If it sucks please help me fix it, please, please, please. Make it better.

    Ever since-

    Please change from “every since”

It’s of average writing, but the story- I liked it.
Remember to have fun with your work!

A number of people ask for help with their homework. If the student has too much help the teacher has no way of knowing how the student is really progressing. Her teacher can only meet her needs if she knows what those needs are. Don’t help her too much. Encourage but don’t do her work. If you do make corrections you must explain the reason for the change.
